The Orange County Pharmacists Association (OCPhA) is the local chapter of the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA).  Founded in 1869, CPhA is the largest state association representing pharmacy professionals from all practice settings.  Our mission is to promote, expand and defend the profession of pharmacy and the role of pharmacists in California.

  • Medication Disposal: Home-Generated Pharmaceutical Collection Program with Curbside, Inc; OCPhA has partnered with Curbside, Inc to promote local pharmacies to serve as sites for the public to return unwanted and expired medications and/or sharps.  This is accomplished by installing a drop-box for pharmaceuticals and/or sharps (separate boxes for each) inside your pharmacy. On a self service basis, consumers drop in their unwanted non-controlled pharmaceuticals. Curbside, Inc. will visit the drop box unit(s) and remove the waste for destruction.
